Treasured Friend

I lost a treasure friend today
The little dog who used to lay her
 Gentle head upon my knee
 And share her silent thoughts
 With me
She’ll come no longer to my call
Retrieve no more her favorite ball
A voice far greater than my own
Has called her to His golden throne
And though my eyes are filled
 With tears
I thank him for the happy years
He let her spend down here
With me
And for her love and loyalty
Here are some thoughts, poems, and tributes to the family members that we will always remember.

Dusky came into our lives when we needed her the most. She was shy, silent, and had the best dimenor. Just like a prim and proper lady. She was and always will be our best friend. Listening to our problems, giving us kisses when needed or when she felt like them, always giving a great big smile and always ready to go for a "ride" in the car. She wasn't just a best friend, she was our lttle bundle of joy. Princess Dusky Puss, your Daddies will always love you and you will always be in our hearts, home, and life waiting on us to turn on the fire place to keep you warm. To infinity and beyond our precious Angel. Rest in Peace Miss Momma!

I adopted Ashton from Petsmart approximately 10 yrs ago. I initially was going to choose another cat but ended up going home with Ashton instead and I'm glad I did. He was the sweetest cat with a great temperament. Very loving as well. Every single day he would greet me at the front door when I came home from work. Sometimes he would even sleep under the covers with me. He died prematurely and very suddenly. I am heartbroken. Ashton you will truly be missed. I will remember you forever 💔!!!

We chose Sophie eight years ago at twelve weeks old. She passed away unexpectedly. Although her life was short lived,we will have everlasting memories of her. From the minute we brought her home she was a treasure. She filled our home with so much life and love and was a constant and loyal companion. She was so much more than a dog,she was our baby. Forever in our hearts. We love you Sophie girl.

Our daughter always wanted an inside dog growing up. We finally gave in and purchased Buddy in 2003 for her 13th. birthday. He became apart of our family in everyway. He never met a stranger and loved eveyone. He loved attention and would let you hold and love him all day. He was smart and loved to ride. He was ready to and always got so excited and danced around until you put in the car to go.

He will always be apart of our family and will be missed each day.

We love our Buddy Boy!

Our sweet Murphy, a 2 year-old rescue that we met and adopted 15 years ago finally passed away last night. We miss her terribly but know that she is no longer struggling and suffering in her advanced age. What a sweet pup!

Batman was a rescue dog who found his way in to my partner's heart 12 years ago...but truly, he rescued her as much as she rescued him. He was very gentle and loyal to her but loved all...all he ever wanted was to be near or on anyone's lap. He endured many life changes with us and was always a true and loving friend. While we are so grateful for the time we were blessed to love him, his last moments were scary and painful...i'm so sad that he struggled but he died in my partner's arms...the safest and most loving place he had ever known! We hope he is at peace and running, barking, eating, snoring and doing all the things that heart disease prevented in the end...He will be (already is) sorely missed. Rest in peace sweet Batman...

Sweet boy. Who would have thought 13 years ago, I met you. Running around with your brothers and sisters. Being all adorable. Your brother picked you out and said, you were the one. He was right. You were so smart and so furry. You just wanted to be cuddled and loved. You brought so much love and joy into our lives. We miss you whining, your big body getting in the way and always being on the wrong side of the door. Everyone that met you, loved you. You could make anyone smile. I thought we had more time. Im glad that you did all your favorite things the night before you left us. Romp free. Say hi to Lolu, lulu, Noel and Leila for me. We will see each other again. We love you.
